Building a Successful Career in a Core Facility

This three-day course will include conferences, round tables and interactive workshops about a variety of aspects of core facility technician, engineer and scientist professional development, coupled to short stays in Institut Pasteur core facilities.
CTLS members can benefit from a reduced registration fee and they will also be able to apply for bursaries (400 euro each) to cover part of their expenses.

The number of trainees for the full 3-day course is limited to 20.
However, up to 100 people can participate in the theoretical part on November 20th.

PROGRAMME:
November 20:
Theoretical part
 Morning: oral presentations and round tables
 Afternoon: parallel workshops
Practical part
 Evening: flash presentations by the 20 trainees and the host Institut Pasteur core facilities

November 21:
Practical part
 Morning: two parallel workshops (10 people each)
 Afternoon: half-day stays in an Institut Pasteur core facility (in a different field than the trainee’s specialty)

November 22:
Practical part
 Morning: two parallel workshops (10 people each)
 Afternoon: half-day stays in an Institut Pasteur core facility (in a different field than the trainee’s specialty)

REGISTRATION FEES:
Full course: 120 euros for CTLS members; 150 euros for non-members
Theoretical part: 80 euros for CTLS members; 100 euros for non-members
